Welcome to my online therapy

counselling website

For online counselling in the UK via video call,

voice call, or instant messaging.

My name is Cecilie Sasu and I am  a UK based BACP registered and accredited counsellor and I am trained to work online.

I work therapeutically online with individuals  offering online counselling via the internet through voice call, video call or instant messaging. For couples I offer  video counselling.

Have a look around the website to explore the options available and feel free to email for more information, or to make a request for online counselling. I also work with English speaking clients living outside of the UK.

If you are interested in my face-to-face counselling service, clinical supervision or EMDR therapy, based in Selsdon, South Croydon, then please visit my other website www.talkingitover.co.uk for further information.

I have experience of working with a range of issues in  many different settings both face to face and online, including schools, online, the voluntary sector and in private practice. Issues that I have experience of working with include:

Depression, anxiety, relationship issues, being a carer, body image, self-harm, life choice difficulties, loss and bereavement , addiction recovery, low self-confidence, work  related stress and pressure, abuse and trauma.

It is important to be aware that online counselling is not suitable for everyone.

Immediate emergencies or strong suicidal feelings are better dealt with urgently.

Please visit www.samaritans.org or www.befrienders.org for suitable help.

BENEFITS OF ONLINE COUNSELLING THERAPY

  • You can access online counselling from the comfort of your own home if you have a reliable internet connection, or from anywhere if you are not at home..

  • It is especially beneficial if you can't leave your home easily, or can't find a local counsellor to work with.

  • Online counselling is cheaper than face-to-face counselling as there are less costs involved.

  • No travel is required.

  • It is private and confidential and might feel less intense, intrusive or stressful than face to face counselling.

  • It is still accessible if you are a parent and find it difficult to get childcare.

  • Instant messaging might be more successful for those feeling at ease with the written word.

  • You may find the process of writing down the things that are on your mind very helpful in itself, and the act of sharing can provide some relief.

  • You may find that writing in comfortable and familiar surroundings reduces your inhibitions, allowing you to be more open than you might be face-to-face.
